Quality meat is the result of quality breeding stock on quality pasture. We follow agricultural best management practices and strive to produce the best possible products. Our meats are cut and packaged at a USDA-inspected butcher facility. They are vacuum sealed and flash frozen at the peak of freshness to be stored in your freezer for up a year or more. 

GRASS FED BEEF

Grass fed beef is the heart of Wilson Dowell Farms. Our cattle are born and raised on our farm. We have a 100 head cow-calf operation. Our cattle are a mix of Angus, Hereford, and Charolais. We purchase the best quality bulls to yield the traits we want in our herd. Our stock comes from Hedgeapple Farm and the Wye Angus research farm. 

You can purchase a side or quarter of Wilson Dowell Farms grass fed beef and have it cut to your specifications. We will walk you through the order process and can help to coordinate a group order if you have multiple families buying together.

Our beef is also available by the individual cut. Check our availability and call for a pick up time. 

PASTURE RAISED PORK

Who doesn't love bacon? Wilson Dowell Farms sources top quality "feeder pigs" to finish on the farm. We select breeds that thrive on pasture and produce rich, flavorful pork. Our pork is generally available year round, though it is in high demand.

We offer individual cuts of pork as well as options to purchase a whole or half pig. Our pork is processed in a USDA-inspected butcher facility, individually packaged, vacuum sealed and flash frozen at the peak of freshness. There are a variety of options available for whole and half pork orders. Let us help you customize your order.

GRASS FED GOAT

We raise Kiko goats, which are well adapted for a pasture-based farm operation. Goat meat is a naturally lean meat, also known as cabrito or chevon. It has a unique taste, which is similar to lamb. You can purchase a whole goat, cut to your specifications - or buy individual cuts of goat from the farm. Availability is limited to the fall, please let us know if you are interested.
